The Rajagopal polytechnic Alumni Association was started 30TH April 1977 under the dynamic leadership of professor late M.M.Rahman former principal of this prestigious institution and followed by the successive patron member of this alumni association Thiru T.Ramadass , Thiru R.J.Kumar and Tmt R.Amutha. This Association is function our RPG campus.

Thiru N.K. Dharmeswaran former HOD of civil Engg, also first batch student of this institution (1960-1963)was the first president and followed by the successor Thiru M.K. Sekar, Thiru Nagarajan, Thiru C.N.Chandrasekaran, Thiru K.Logasan, Thiru S.Arunachalam, Thiru T.Rajasekaran, and Thiru D.Rajendiran held the president post.

The RPCG Association was registered body functioning under society act wide registration no.152/2015, dated 25th September 2015 in Vellore. Subregister office. Every year renewal was carried out properly and this annual accounts were audited (1st April to 31st march).

The RPG Alumni Association general body meeting is conducted every year on 15th August at 10.00 am in our Rajagopal polytechnic college campus. Almost nearly 1000 Alumni members participate in the get together function of RPAA. Till 2017-2018 nearly 20000 students studied in this institution.

For the effective function of RPAA funds were mobilized from the members of RPAA following activities are carried out.

ACTIVITIES OF ALUMNI

1. Supplying of free Noon Meals to poor students.
2. Payment of Tuition fees for economically backward students.
3. Supplying of free Books, Cloths to the needy students.
4. Conduct staff/students Seminar by arranging experts for skill development program.
5. Conduct Industry Interaction program for the benefits of students.
6. Arrange In Camp Training Program.
7. Arrange Campus Interview through Alumni.
8. Installation of Solar Lamp.
9. Installation of Water Purifier Tank at the cost of 1.25 lakhs 500 litre capacity
10. Supplying of books to the Library.

OBJECTIVES

1. To provide forum for the alumni of RPG, for exchange of experience, dissemination of knowledge and talents among its members and to the new students.
2. To Engage in such academic and social activities as shall contribute towards promoting liaison between ROOP & RPG.
3. To help the poor students of RPG by providing books, foods, etc.
4. To contribute alumni day celebration.
5. To further the Cause of Engineering & Technology.
